Yes No Song
The Yes No Song was created to teach basic communication skills through head movements and sign language. It teaches the words “yes,” “no,” “more” and “finished.” Maria Carron created this song when she was working at the Judevine Center for Autism. She continues to find this song useful in teaching communication skills.
When you nod your head it means “yes, yes, yes.”
When you shake your head it means “no, no no.”
When you move your hands to the middle it means “I want more.” And when you cross your hands and you bring them a part, it means “I’m finished.”
