This song is written to the familiar tune “This Old Man.” It was originally adapted by the St. Louis music therapist Maura Marksteiner during her internship with Midwest Music Therapy Services.  A teacher requested she write the song to help one of the students understand the importance of taking turns.  This version was adapted further by Maria Carron.  The words and tune are easy for teachers and students to remember.  You can easily adapt it for all your turn taking teaching needs.
